Affirm offers real-time financing for online purchases. With Affirm, you can buy and receive your purchase now, and pay for it later in fixed payments every 2 weeks or flexible monthly payments*.
Affirm doesn’t charge late fees, annual fees, account-opening fees, or prepayment fees. Some plans may include interest, but the full cost is disclosed before you agree to anything.
Choose Affirm as your payment method at checkout and enter the information requested by Affirm. If eligible, you’ll be shown the payment plans available for your purchase.
Review the schedule and complete terms, select the option that works for you, and confirm your purchase. From there, payments are made directly to Affirm—not to The House of Kensington.
Available options depend on eligibility, the purchase amount, and other factors. A down payment may be required.
Checking your eligibility or purchasing power generally uses a soft inquiry, which doesn’t affect your credit score.
If you complete a purchase with Affirm, however, your payment plan and repayment activity may be reported to credit bureaus. Your purchase, payment history, credit usage, and other factors may affect your credit. Consider it a real financial agreement, because that is precisely what it is.
Affirm will ask for a few personal details to confirm your identity and determine eligibility. This may include your legal name, mobile number, email address, date of birth, address, and Social Security number or part of it.
You must generally be at least 18 years old, have a Social Security number, and own a U.S.-registered phone number that can receive text messages. Age requirements differ in certain states and territories. Affirm—not The House of Kensington—collects and evaluates this information.
No. Every application is reviewed by Affirm, and approval isn’t guaranteed—even if you’ve previously used Affirm or have an estimated purchasing-power amount.
Eligibility and available terms may vary by purchase, merchant, order amount, credit profile, existing Affirm plans, and other factors considered by Affirm. The House of Kensington doesn’t approve applications or receive the reason for Affirm’s decision.
Payments are managed directly through your Affirm account or the Affirm app. Depending on your particular plan, available methods may include a debit card, eligible credit card, bank account, Apple Pay, Affirm Money account, or physical check.
Not every method is available for every plan. The eligible options for yours will appear in your Affirm account. Credit cards generally can’t be used to repay interest-bearing plans.
Yes. Purchases made with Affirm remain subject to The House of Kensington’s standard return policy and eligibility requirements.
Begin your return through The House of Kensington, just as you would with any other order. Once an approved refund is processed, Affirm will apply it to your payment plan. Depending on the amount already paid and whether the return is full or partial, Affirm may reduce the remaining balance or issue a refund according to its policies and your plan terms.
Continue making any scheduled payments until the refund appears in your Affirm account. Processing a return doesn’t automatically pause or cancel an upcoming payment.
